SBI Lucknow Circle Launches "Agri Loans Awareness Week" to Empower Farmers
Lucknow Desk (R. L. Pandey): The State Bank of India (SBI), Lucknow Circle, inaugurated “Agri Loans Awareness Week” on June 9, 2025, at its Local Head Office in Lucknow. The awareness drive will continue across the country from June 9 to June 13, 2025, with the goal of enhancing farmers' understanding of agricultural loan products and government schemes.

The event was launched under the guidance of Shri Dipak Kumar De, Chief General Manager, SBI Lucknow Circle. On the occasion, Shri Anil Kumar (General Manager, Network 1), Shri Rajiv Kumar (General Manager, Network 2), Shri Kaushalendra Kumar (General Manager, Network 3), Smt. Gurpreet Kaur (Deputy General Manager, Agriculture), Shri Dheeraj Kumar (Deputy General Manager, B&O Lucknow West), and Shri Raghvendra Kumar (Deputy General Manager, B&O Lucknow East) jointly flagged off two audio vans designed to disseminate vital information directly to farmers in rural areas.

This initiative is part of SBI's ongoing commitment to support the agricultural community by:

  • Raising awareness about Kisan Credit Card (KCC) renewal and benefits

  • Educating farmers on agricultural finance products

  • Promoting various Government Sponsored Schemes related to farming and rural development

With the campaign theme "जानो, समझो, बढ़ो" (Know, Understand, Grow), SBI encourages all farmers to actively participate in this week-long outreach program and avail themselves of the knowledge and financial tools offered. SBI urges farmers to utilize this opportunity to strengthen their agricultural practices through better financial planning and awareness.
