SBI Lucknow Circle Organizes Nationwide Shramdaan Campaign ‘One Day, One Hour, Together’ in Lucknow
Lucknow, October 1, 2026: As part of the nationwide ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’ campaign, the State Bank of India (SBI), Lucknow Circle organized the nationwide Shramdaan campaign ‘One Day, One Hour, Together’ at Laplace Garden, Lucknow, on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The campaign was inaugurated by Shri Dipesh Raj, Chief General Manager, SBI Lucknow Circle, who led the cleanliness and Shramdaan activities along with senior officers and staff members.
In addition to the Shramdaan activity, a plantation drive was also conducted at the venue, with several saplings planted by the participating officers and employees. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dipesh Raj said, “Swachhata and environmental sustainability go hand in hand. Through this plantation drive, we aim to contribute to a cleaner, greener and healthier India. SBI is committed not only to providing financial services but also to fulfilling its social responsibility.”
The campaign aimed to create greater awareness about cleanliness, encourage reduction in the use of single-use plastic and promote environmentally responsible and sustainable green practices.
Shri Kaushalendra Kumar, General Manager (Network-III); Shri Vimal Kishore, General Manager (Network-I); and Shri Rajeev Kumar, General Manager (Network-II), along with other senior officers and staff members, actively participated in the campaign and plantation drive.
The initiative highlighted SBI Lucknow Circle’s participation in the nationwide cleanliness campaign and reinforced the message of collective responsibility towards a cleaner and greener environment.
