SBI MD Presents ₹25 Lakh CSR Cheque to Help U Trust for Upgradation of 10 Government Schools in Lucknow

lucknow, September 14, 2026: State Bank of India (SBI) Managing Director Shri Ravi Ranjan presented a cheque of ₹25 lakh to Help U Educational and Charitable Trust, Lucknow, as part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The cheque was handed over during Shri Ravi Ranjan’s visit to the SBI Lucknow Circle on September 14, 2026. The financial support will be utilised for the upgradation of 10 primary government schools in Lucknow, with the objective of improving educational infrastructure and creating a better learning environment for students.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening the local education ecosystem by extending support to government schools and helping provide students with improved facilities and learning opportunities.

The occasion was also graced by Shri Dipesh Raj, Chief General Manager, SBI Lucknow Circle; Shri Vimal Kishore, GM-I; Shri Rajeev Kumar, GM-II; and Shri Kaushalendra Kumar, GM-III.

Shri Harsh Vardhan Agarwal, Founder and Managing Trustee of Help U Educational and Charitable Trust, Lucknow, was also present on the occasion.

The CSR initiative reflects SBI’s continued focus on community development and its efforts to contribute to accessible and quality education through targeted social-impact programmes.
