Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).Today the second batch of probationary officers of the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) joined the esteemed Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management (IRITM). The Additional Director-General of IRITM (ADG IRITM), and faculty members graced the occasion with their presence.
In a momentous event for the Indian Railways, this inaugural cohort of probationary officers with 81 Officer Trainees embarked on their journey as officers of Indian Railways at IRITM, signalling a significant step in the field of railway management.
ADG/IRITM, Shri Sanjay Tripathi, in his address, emphasized the paramount importance of continuous learning and discipline in one's professional and personal life. He exhorted the probationary officers to remain dedicated to serving the Indian Railways and the Nation and encouraged them to embrace a lifelong commitment to education and self-improvement.
The Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management is widely acknowledged for its unwavering commitment to excellence in Training and has been ranked a four star Centralized Training Institute in an Audit conducted by the Capacity Building Commission of India-making IRITM. The induction of this batch of probationary officers further underscores IRITM's dedication to grooming the next generation of railway leaders.
Throughout their training, these probationary officers will receive comprehensive Training and education encompassing a wide range of subjects relating to Railway Working and General Management. This comprehensive training will prepare them for the formidable challenges and significant responsibilities associated with managing the extensive Indian railway network. Their journey at IRITM will include a blend of classroom learning, hands-on training, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
