Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).A seven-days special camp, organised by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit was inaugurated on 27th February at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. This camp will be held in the university campus till 5th March, in which volunteers will participate in different type of social services, awareness campaigns and various developing activities. 
The program started with the lighting of the lamp and offering a floral tribute to the photograph of Babasaheb. Dr. Pawan Kumar Chaurasia, Program Coordinator, Dr. Pranab Anand, Dr. Narendra Singh, Dr. Meena Vishveshwar and Dr. Arpit Shailesh were present mainly during the inaugural session. At the beginning, Dr. Arpit Shailesh welcomed all the people present in the camp and gave information about the purpose and outline of the camp.
                  Dr. Pawan Kumar Chaurasia, Program Coordinator inspired the students to learn from the camp and called for performing the duties of the nation. He motivated the volunteers to document their services through the My Bharat Portal. 
                  Dr. Pranav Anand highlighted the objectives of the National Service Scheme and inspired the youth towards social service. Dr. Arpit Shailesh informed that programs related to shramdaan, sanitation campaign, environmental protection, women empowerment, yoga, culture will be organized during the camp. Also, Dr. Narendra Singh described the camp as a strong medium of society building.
                  Various teachers, research scholars, students and volunteers were present during the entire program.
