Shelter Arrangements Directed for Petitioners During Winter

Addressing officials, the Chief Minister noted that while Janata Darshan is also conducted at the district level, a large number of petitioners still travel to Lucknow. “Many petitioners reach the capital a night in advance. Adequate arrangements have been made at night shelters, and they should stay there,” he said.

The Chief Minister instructed the Lucknow district administration to regularly inspect night shelters and review facilities to ensure that petitioners do not face any inconvenience during their stay, especially in the prevailing cold weather.

Highlighting the severe winter conditions, CM Yogi appealed to the public to first approach their respective District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police with their grievances. He stated that issues are being resolved effectively at the administrative level. He directed all DMs and SPs across the state to hear public grievances daily and resolve them promptly, so that people are not compelled to travel to Lucknow in the cold.

During the Janata Darshan, several petitioners sought financial assistance for medical treatment. The Chief Minister accepted their applications and advised them to submit treatment estimates from the concerned hospitals. He reaffirmed that the government has been providing financial assistance for medical care since day one and remains committed to ensuring that no one suffers due to lack of treatment.

Cases related to illegal land encroachment were also raised. Taking a firm stand, the Chief Minister ordered immediate investigations and directed officials to take strict action, stating that illegal encroachment would not be tolerated.Upon hearing complaints related to paddy procurement from farmers, the Chief Minister promptly instructed the concerned authorities to resolve the issues. He emphasized that addressing farmers’ problems remains a top priority for the government.

Children accompanying their parents also attended the Janata Darshan. CM Yogi interacted warmly with them, enquired about their studies, and encouraged them. He distributed chocolates to the children and advised parents to take special care to protect them from the cold weather. The parents expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister’s affectionate gesture.
