Shri Arvind Kumar Sharma attends XVII Convocation Ceremony of Integral University, Lucknow

The program was chaired by Hon’ble Chancellor & Founder, Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar, who congratulated all graduating students and advised them to remain consistent in their goals with hard work, positive attitude, and perseverance to achieve meaningful success in life.

Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Urban Development & Energy, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Arvind Kumar Sharma attended the convocation as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the University’s dedication toward quality education rooted in Indian culture and values. While addressing the students, he spoke about India’s glorious history as a global hub of learning and highlighted the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister for making India one of the world’s leading economies. He encouraged the youth to contribute with confidence, innovation, and commitment in this era of growth and transformation.

Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar emphasized that beyond degrees and professional achievements, kindness, compassion, and humanity hold the greatest value. He motivated the students to excel in their professions while maintaining humility and empathy.

Guest of Honour Shri Nasser Munjee, Chairman of MMTC PAMP & ARKA FinCap, delivered the Convocation Address. He spoke about the shifting dynamics of global geopolitics and the emergence of BRICS as a strong economic bloc. He expressed that India, now the world’s 5th largest economy, is positioned to become a global superpower in the coming decade. He advised students to remain curious, caring, and lifelong learners. The University honored him with the prestigious D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) for his remarkable contribution to finance, infrastructure, and social development.

Presenting the annual report, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat said that Integral University continues to focus on holistic and futuristic education that supports moral values, creative thinking, scientific research, sustainability, and innovation. He said the institution is committed to producing responsible global citizens and future-ready leaders.

During the ceremony, the University awarded 133 Ph.D. degrees and 4,793 undergraduate & postgraduate degrees to successful candidates. Additionally, 121 gold medals and 118 silver medals were presented to meritorious students.

Mohd Maaz (MCA) and Saima Siddiqui (M.Sc Mathematics) secured the top ranks at the University. Mohd Maaz also received the Student Startups Award for Technology & Sustainability Innovation by the Integral Startup Foundation.

Hon’ble Additional Pro-Chancellors Mr. Syed Adnan Akhtar, Mr. Syed Fauzan Akhtar, Dr. Nida Fatima, and Prof. Abdul Rahman Khan (Controller of Examinations) were present on the occasion. Registrar Prof. Mohammad Haris Siddiqui delivered the vote of thanks, and Prof. Saba Siddiqui conducted the proceedings.
