Skd Academy Celebrates World Water Day with Enthusiastic Participation

The day commenced with a special assembly, where students delivered speeches and presentations emphasizing the significance of saving water. A skit was performed by students, creatively highlighting the consequences of water wastage and the need for sustainable water practices.

To encourage critical thinking and awareness, a writing activity on ‘Ways of Saving Water’ was conducted, where students expressed innovative ideas on conserving water in daily life. Additionally, a movie show was organized, showcasing thought-provoking documentaries on global water conservation efforts and challenges.

A significant moment of the event was the special pledge on saving water, where students and faculty members collectively vowed to use water responsibly. As a token of commitment to the cause, all students were given badges with the message ‘SAVE WATER’ to wear proudly.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Manish Singh emphasized the crucial role of young minds in shaping a sustainable future. He stated, “Water is a precious resource, and it is our collective responsibility to conserve it for future generations. Such initiatives not only educate but also inspire students to become responsible citizens.”

The event was graced by Mrs. Nisha Singh, Deputy Director, and Mrs. Kusum Batra, Assistant Director (Academics), who appreciated the efforts of students and faculty in making the celebration meaningful and impactful.
