SKD Academy Hosts Prestigious National-Level Code Bot Championship in Lucknow, Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators
Lucknow, August 22, 2026: SKD Academy, Vrindavan Yojana, Lucknow, came alive with the spirit of robotics, coding and innovation as it successfully hosted the prestigious Code Bot Championship, organised in association with Createwiz. The national-level championship brought together nearly 200 teams from across India, providing young innovators with an exciting platform to build, code, compete and showcase their technical talent.
The event marked a significant milestone for school-level robotics in Uttar Pradesh, with SKD Academy hosting one of the largest school robotics competitions of its kind in the state.
The championship was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, MLA, Sarojini Nagar. The event was also graced by Mr. Ankit Yadav, Joint General Manager, UP Metro; Ms. Kiran Yadav, Additional DCP, Cyber Crime; Mr. Manish Singh, Director, SKD Group of Education; Mrs. Nisha Singh, Deputy Director; and Mrs. Kusum Batra, Assistant Director, along with educators, parents and representatives from participating schools.
Students from Grades III to XII competed across six exciting categories — Robo Race, Bot Combat, Fastest Line Follower, Innovation Challenge, Robo Soccer and Drone Racing. The competitions tested the participants' technical expertise, creativity, strategic thinking, teamwork, problem-solving abilities and resilience in challenging situations.
Young Innovators Shine at the Championship
The championship concluded with the recognition of outstanding performances by young participants from across the country. The winners included Varnan Singh from K.R. Mangalam World School, Lucknow; Mohd. Almaz, Hardik Pal and Prithuraj Mishra from SKD Academy; Vikrant Singh from Lucknow; Master Omar Meraj Shaikh from Vidya Pratishthan's Indapur; Naman Shukla, Sarthak Pal and Avi Pandey from Amity International School, Vrindavan Yojana, Lucknow; Anay Tandon, Virat Tripathi and Reyaansh Yadav from City Montessori School, Mahanagar, Lucknow; and Kartik Kapoor and Mauli Kapoor from City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, Lucknow.
Participants recognised for exceptional performances included Pratigya Singh, Priyanshi Awasthi, Aradhya Singh, Anshika Maurya and Navya Yadav from Brightland School, Lucknow; Master Rishu Shambhu Pandit and Master Satish Pintu Patil from Vidya Pratishthan's Indapur; and Saumya Mittal, Shanaya Bhargava, Guneet Kaur and Kiyaa Sabharwal from La Martiniere Girls' College, Lucknow.
The winners and top-performing participants were felicitated with trophies, medals and cash prizes in recognition of their achievements.
Promoting Experiential and Future-Ready Education
The championship reflected SKD Academy's commitment to innovation-led, experiential and future-ready education. The event provided students with opportunities to move beyond traditional classroom learning and understand the practical applications of technology through hands-on experience.

New Coding and Gaming Competition Announced
Building on the success of the Code Bot Championship, SKD Academy announced that a new competition focusing on Coding, Decoding and Gaming will be organised soon. The upcoming event will provide students with another platform to explore emerging technologies, demonstrate their skills and compete with fellow young innovators.
