The Integral Startups Foundation (ISF), Integral University successfully organized an online Special Interaction Session on “Korea as a Global Destination for Indian Startups & Entrepreneurs” on 18th February 2026.

The program was conducted in collaboration with Konnect, Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), StartInUP, with esteemed support from the Embassy of India-Seoul.

 

 

 

Dr. Nida Fatima, Additional Pro Chancellor, Integral University, and Executive Director, ISF, opened the session by highlighting the vision, key initiatives, and achievements of ISF and the University in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.

 

 

 

Ms. Ananya Agarwal, Senior IFS and Counsellor/Head of Chancery at the Embassy of India in South Korea, shared valuable insights into Korean societal perspectives. She addressed common misconceptions and emphasized the growing bilateral opportunities between India and South Korea, particularly in the startup and innovation sectors.
Dr. Ravi Shankar, Founder and CEO of Konnect, spoke about his entrepreneurial journey in South Korea. He outlined the key challenges of establishing ventures in a relatively homogeneous society and discussed practical strategies for successfully building cross-border enterprises.
The session offered participants a comprehensive understanding of South Korea’s startup ecosystem, international expansion pathways, government policies, incubation support systems, and bilateral collaboration models.
The interactive program witnessed enthusiastic participation from startups, students, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Certificates were awarded to all registered attendees, marking the successful conclusion of a highly informative and engaging session.
