Study Hall College organises EduVision Conclave

Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).Study Hall College Piparsand organized the "Eduvision Conclave-2025" on Tuesday at Hotel Holiday Inn, Lucknow, to promote the idea of a modern education system. This year’s theme was—"Transforming Education: Empowering Students Through Competency-Based Learning."

In this exclusive event, a formal meet with distinguished principals of various schools, industry experts was conducted. With the insightful sessions, panel discussions and interactive workshops, the key focus areas of the conclave were “Emerging trends in education”, “Networking with fellow education leaders” and “Collaborative opportunities to foster academic excellence” and preparing students for future challenges.  
Panellists discussed the need of developing competencies in secondary standards as per National Curriculum Framework (NCF) proposed in New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. While maintaining a consensus to augment competencies through innovative pedagogy, they expressed their views on issues and obstacles in the way to achieve excellence in education.
Dr Himanshu Singh (Director, Study Hall College) said, “The core values of Study Hall Educational Foundation (SHEF) are gender equality, social justice, personal flourishing and active democratic citizenship. Besides course study, personality development and career support, we conduct “Critical Dialogue” among students to create social and political consciousness. We are working on bonding of teachers and parents as well. To meet the goal, collaboration between various schools and our college is essential.”
Mr. Prashant Verma (Vice President, Vidya Bridge) remarked, “There has been a paradigm shift from knowledge-based hiring to competency-based hiring. We need to align our thinking with industry standards. Hence, we require a competency map that includes a balanced ratio of personality, skills, and knowledge based on specific fields. Besides identifying and nurturing students’ talents, we also need group projects and faculty development programs.”
Discussing on NEP goals, Ms Shipra Verma, principal of Vidyasthali school of (SHEF), had an interaction with the principles presented in the conclave.
Study Hall College is affiliated to University of Lucknow, and is one of the premiere degree college in the city. It offers bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA - JMC), Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA) and Computer Application (BCA).
