Study Hall College students learnt “Podcast Skills”from RJVeraa

Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).In the modern age of Mass Communication, making career through your voice is easy but to groom skills from a master in the field is highly essential for the aspirants. Aiming to provide this opportunity, Study Hall College organized a special workshop for the students to learn “Audio Podcasting Skills”byRJ Veraa, a well-known voice in the industry.
During the workshop, Veera suggested the students that “Audio Podcast” is a self-employment tool and it is simple to produce through which podcaster can reach to a large audience.
Veraa said, “Audio is a one to one and a very powerful tool easily accessibletothe audience. Hence conversational style of content should be produced. The main features of a good podcast include language, feeling, adaptive and emotional connect.”
“The beauty of podcasting is that you are the king of your content. Your persistence and effort will always pay off,” she added while emphasizing on enhancing communication skillto make appealing podcast.
The workshop focused on the topicsincluding art of communication, the power of audio, audio mediums, history of podcast, understanding ones power zone,honing ones skills, steps to start podcast channel, how to publish podcast, current trends in podcasting and difference between a podcaster and YouTuber.The interactive session led students to ask lots of questions pertaining to podcasting and its career scope.
Veraa has been associated with the audio industry for more than 30 years. She is known as a brand among her fans. She isa “Limca Book of World Record” holder as a longest serving morning jockey for Radio City Lucknow (91.1 FM).
Veraa began her stint by interviewing Bollywood legend Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Her podcast channel “Stotras and Shlokas” has already made more than 439k impressions. Her travel podcast “Meri Duniya with Veraa” is getting critical acclaim not only in India but abroad as well.She also studied International Radio and is currently the official podcasting voice of INQUA India 2027.
Dr. Neha Mahindra, Dean Academics of Study Hall College, along with other faculty members featured during the workshop.
