Study Hall School–Kanpur Road Celebrates Annual Sports Day 2025: ‘Passion in Action’

The programme was graced by Dr. Minakshi Trivedi, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Shakti Singh Yadav, Vice President and Plant Head, Ashok Leyland, Lucknow. Their presence inspired the students and added immense value to the occasion.

The day began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by the opening ceremony, march past, and oath-taking, reflecting the school’s commitment to integrity, discipline, and fair play. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Minakshi Trivedi appreciated the school’s emphasis on holistic education and underscored the role of sports in nurturing confidence, resilience, and leadership among children. She congratulated the students and staff for organizing a well-coordinated and spirited event.

Speaking on the occasion, the Founder and CEO of the Study Hall Educational Foundation said,“As Study Hall enters its 40th year, we reflect on an educational journey that has always prioritised meaningful learning over examinations. From the very beginning, Study Hall has followed a no-exam approach, focusing instead on activity-based and experiential learning. It is encouraging to see that the National Education Policy 2020 has now formally recognised and endorsed these principles, which have long been at the heart of Study Hall’s pedagogy.”

Students from Pre-Primary to Senior classes actively participated in a wide range of track events, fun races, relay competitions, and group performances, showcasing agility, coordination, endurance, and team spirit.

From the energetic performances of the youngest learners to the competitive relay races by senior students, the Sports Day truly lived up to its theme, ‘Passion in Action’. Special races organised for parents further strengthened the bond between the school and its community, making the celebration inclusive and joyful.

The event concluded with prize distribution, a vote of thanks, and the National Anthem, leaving behind cherished memories and renewed enthusiasm among students and participants.
