Lucknow | January 19, 2026   The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Expo (UPITEX 2026) is set to establish a new benchmark in trade and industrial engagement across North India. Recognized as an approved Trade Expo under the PMS Scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, UPITEX 2026 is being organized by the Uttar Pradesh State Chapter of PHDCCI, in collaboration with One District One Product (ODOP) and Invest UP, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The expo represents a significant initiative aimed at empowering MSMEs, promoting investment, and firmly positioning Uttar Pradesh on the global economic map.

A Comprehensive Industrial Showcase

With over 400 stalls, UPITEX 2026 presents a wide spectrum of industries reflecting the state’s economic depth and diversity.

  • Handicrafts & Textiles: Moradabad’s brassware, Firozabad’s glass products, and handcrafted carpets from the Bhadohi–Mirzapur region highlight Uttar Pradesh’s rich artisanal heritage.

  • Engineering & Leather: Industrial clusters from Kanpur–Auraiya and Agra–Aligarh demonstrate the state’s manufacturing strength.

  • FMCG & Agri-Processing: Participation by leading brands such as Radico Khaitan Limited, Everest Food Products Pvt. Ltd., Fena Pvt. Ltd., Rajesh Masala Pvt. Ltd., and Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. underscores the expo’s strong business relevance.

  • Banking & Finance: Active participation from NABARD, SIDBI, SBI, Union Bank of India, and NSE is guiding MSMEs toward financial inclusion and enhanced market access.

  • Fragrance Industry: Kannauj’s iconic perfume products continue to attract strong international interest.

  • Automobile Pavilion: Showcasing modern vehicles, advanced technologies, and auto accessories.

Export, Sustainability, and Market Access

The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) Pavilion features more than 40 leading exporters displaying export-ready products, GI-tagged items, and contemporary designs—facilitating direct interaction between buyers and manufacturers.

The National Jute Board Pavilion showcases eco-friendly jute products crafted by artisans and self-help groups, reinforcing the focus on sustainable livelihoods and green alternatives.

Institutions such as BIS are providing guidance on standardization, quality control, and regulatory compliance, while the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will host a Financial Literacy Conference on January 25, 2026, strengthening financial awareness among entrepreneurs.
