VANI : KARMA Sahitya Parv 2026 to Be Held in New Delhi on 6 February

VANI – KARMA Sahitya Parv, a national literary and cultural platform curated by KARMA Foundation, will be held on 6 February 2026 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The 2026 edition is being organised in partnership with the Ministry of Art, Culture and Language, Government of Delhi.
The theme for this year’s festival is “Sahitya, Sanskriti, Seva: Nurturing an Atmanirbhar Viksit Bharat Through Knowledge and Culture.” Envisioned as a single-stage, non-commercial festival, VANI brings together literature, culture, governance, and youth voices to reflect on India’s civilisational journey and contemporary national priorities.
As a key partner, the Ministry of Art, Culture and Language, Government of Delhi, is supporting the festival’s objective of strengthening cultural awareness and public engagement with literature and ideas.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kapil Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Government of NCT of Delhi, said:Delhi has long been a centre of sahitya, language, and public thought, and the Government of Delhi places strong emphasis on preserving and promoting this literary and cultural legacy.
At a time of rapid social and technological change, it is important to strengthen public platforms that encourage serious engagement with literature, ideas, and values. By supporting initiatives such as VANI – Karma Sahitya Parv, the Government of Delhi seeks to deepen cultural awareness, promote thoughtful dialogue, and reaffirm the role of sahitya and culture in shaping an informed, responsible, and confident Bharat.”
Ms. Dhwani Jain, Festival Director, VANI – KARMA Sahitya Parv, said:India’s cultural and intellectual traditions have always played a defining role in shaping public consciousness and national direction. At a time of rapid change, it is essential to create spaces for thoughtful dialogue—where literature, culture, and service inform how we engage with society and governance. VANI – Karma Sahitya Parv seeks to contribute to this larger national conversation by reaffirming the role of ideas, values, and cultural memory in building a confident, responsible, Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat.”
The festival will open with an inaugural ceremony graced by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture, Government of India, underscoring the national stature of the platform. The programme will also feature a keynote address by Shri Kapil Mishra and a Spotlight Conversation on Youth, Leadership and Nation-Building with Shri Tejasvi Surya, Hon’ble Member of Parliament and President, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
VANI 2026 will bring together senior policymakers, authors, scholars, and cultural practitioners, including Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera, Hon’ble Member of Parliament; Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA); Dr. Sanjeev Chopra, former Director, LBSNAA and author; Shri Shyam Parande, International Coordinator, Sewa International; Shri Prabhat Kumar, Chairperson, Pan IIT Alumni India; Smt.
