Ambedkar Women's Hostel, Lucknow University, under the guidance of Provost Prof. (Dr.) Archana Singh and Assistant Provost Er. Nidhi Srivastava. The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, ProVice-Chancellor Dr. Manuka Khanna.

The hostel shone bright with beautiful lights and the joyous music of Garba as it celebrated Navratri with grandeur. Last night, the hostel's cultural glory was on full display, as the residents, dressed in ethnic Navratri attire, showcased performances that left the guests and attendees in awe. This spectacular celebration of dance, music, and tradition redefined the Dandiya experience, blending rich cultural festivities with enchanting performances.

The Dandiya Festival promised an enchanting atmosphere filled with lively music, colourful attire, and spirited dance. Participants were encouraged to wear “traditional yet trendy” outfits to fully embrace the festive spirit. The night featured a mix of Garba and Dandiya, led by talented musicians who kept the energy high and the dance floor alive. Under the starry sky, everyone danced enthusiastically to the rhythmic beats of Dandiya. Participants donned their best traditional ghagras and kurtas, while sparkling dandiya sticks added to the event's festive charm.

As soon as the celebration began, it felt as though the girls had become heroines in a Bollywood movie. The dandiya night burst with colour and a lively mix of music that will remain in the memories of its revelers for years to come.

The vibrant costumes and joyful faces added life to the atmosphere. The event's setup was innovatively designed to complement the cultural extravaganza, which aimed to foster harmony, cultural exchange, and camaraderie among the students. The atmosphere reflected how the same hands that carry the weight of heavy lawbooks can also look astonishing adorned with colourful bangles.

The evening began with prayers to Goddess Durga, followed by fun games like Dumb Charades, riddles, and Bollywood tune identification. A special highlight of the night was a rampwalk where first-year students introduced themselves. The students then danced to the energetic beats of the DJ and dhol. Attractions like rangoli, music, food stalls, group performances, and selfie corners made the event even more special.

Prizes were distributed for the best costume, dance, and other competitions, adding a competitive spirit to the festivities. The lively decorations and colourful outfits made the festival unforgettable, with every face glowing with happiness. The entire environment buzzed with excitement and enthusiasm. This magnificent and energetic event left everyone with cherished memories.

The evening ended with a group photo, with every face beaming with happiness. Provost Prof.(Dr.) Archana Singh and the organizing committee thanked all the guests, participants, and collaborators, concluding the wonderful event. The night ended with the sounds of Dandiya sticks hitting the floor, as everyone danced with joy and enthusiasm. As smiles lit up the faces and their hearts filled with joy, many wondered, "When will it happen again next year?"
