Uttar Pradesh and Haryana will clash in the final today

Uttar Pradesh Jhansi : The finalists of the North Zone Sub Junior Boys and Girls Championship organized by Hockey India at Major Dhyanchand Sports Stadium were decided today. In the first semi-final match of the boys category, Haryana defeated Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh defeated Uttarakhand and confirmed their berth in the final. In the women's category, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana entered the final by being on top in their pools.
Haryana defeated Hockey Punjab 2-0 in the semi-final match
In the first semi-final match of the men's category, Haryana defeated Hockey Punjab 2-0. From Haryana, jersey no. 6 Sachin scored a penalty corner in the 24th minute and a field goal in the 57th minute, and Hockey Haryana defeated Hockey Punjab 2-0 and confirmed its place in the final. During the match, former international hockey player Jamsher Khan introduced himself to the players and honored Hockey Haryana's jersey no. 6 Sachin with the Player of the Match.

While in the second semi-final match, the host Uttar Pradesh Hockey team defeated Hockey Uttarakhand by a one-sided 11-0 goals. Jersey no. 15 Mohd. Atif Raini scored the maximum 3 goals from Uttar Pradesh Hockey and Shahrukh Ali and Rahul Yadav scored 2-2 goals each. During the match, Sunil Kumar Tiwari, General Secretary, UP Volleyball Association, encouraged the players and got introduced to them. After the match, senior cricketer Brijendra Yadav and social worker Ashok Agarwal jointly honoured Neeraj Prajapati, jersey no. 14 of Uttar Pradesh Hockey team, with the Player of the Match.
Earlier, in the women's league matches played this morning, Hockey Haryana defeated Hockey Himachal by 2-0 goals. During the match, in the 12th minute, jersey no. 8 Manjinder scored the first goal for Hockey Haryana and in the 35th minute, jersey no. 9 Chanchal scored the second goal, giving her team a 2-0 lead. Haryana won with 2-0 goals.
Jersey no. 6 Diya of Hockey Haryana was awarded Player of the Match
Before the match, Ajit Kumar Singh, Deputy Director Co-operative, introduced himself to the players and after the match, awarded jersey no. 6 Diya of Hockey Haryana with Player of the Match. In the match between Hockey Uttarakhand and Hockey Chandigarh, Hockey Chandigarh won by 1-0. During the match, jersey no. 9 Manpreet Kaur scored the first goal for Hockey Chandigarh in the 43rd minute and finally Hockey Chandigarh won by 1-0 goals. Before the match, Sanjay Gautam, Joint Secretary, Hockey Uttar Pradesh Association, introduced himself to the players and after the match, honored Hockey Chandigarh's jersey no. 9 Manpreet Kaur with the Player of the Match.
Jersey no. 8 Akanksha scored the first goal for Uttar Pradesh Hockey.
Uttar Pradesh Hockey defeated Hockey Punjab by a goal in a tough match. In the 11th minute of the match, jersey no. 8 Akanksha Mitra scored the first goal for Uttar Pradesh Hockey and finally Uttar Pradesh Hockey won by 1-0 goals. Before the match, Kirti, Regional Tourism Officer, Jhansi, introduced himself to the players and after the match honored Uttar Pradesh Hockey's jersey no. 2 Nancy Singh with the Player of the Match.
