Dehradun, July 4, 2025 – Reliance Jio has once again emerged as a top performer in mobile network quality, according to the latest Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The test, carried out between May 5 and May 21, 2025, covered 325 kilometers of the Dehradun to Badrinath highway, along with Moradabad city, both falling under the UP-West Licensed Service Area (LSA).
Part of TRAI’s regular Quality of Service (QoS) assessments, the test measured real-time network capabilities including call quality and data performance across various operators.
Jio’s Standout Performance:
Top Download Speeds: Jio delivered an average download speed of 190.11 Mbps, outperforming all other networks in the region.
Strong Upload Performance: With an average upload speed of 23.64 Mbps, Jio enabled smooth video conferencing, file transfers, and cloud-based applications.
Quick Call Connectivity: The Call Setup Time (CST) was recorded at a swift 0.83 seconds, ensuring minimal delay in call connections.
High Call Success Rate: Jio achieved a Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR) of 98.77%, indicating nearly all call attempts were successful.
Lowest Drop and Mute Call Rates: Jio reported the lowest Drop Call Rate (DCR) at 0.31% and a Mute Call Rate (MC) of only 1.11%, highlighting exceptional voice service reliability.
