Uttar Pradesh desk Lucknow (R L pandey).A plantation program was organized on 8th August under the 'One Tree - One Student' and 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, under the joint aegis of the Gardening & Beautification Section and the School of Vocational & Futuristic Studies in Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University .
The program was presided over by Prof. N. M. P. Verma, Vice Chancellor of the University. During the program, Prof. N. M. P. Verma, Vice Chancellor, Kumkum Verma, First lady of the University, Prof. Manish Kumar Verma, Dean of the School of Vocational & Futuristic Studies , along with other teachers, research scholars and students were planted saplings in the university campus. Dr. Sameer Kumar Dixit, Horticulture Inspector, Shiv Balak, research Scholars and students were present during the program.
